"WE'LL REVIEW THE WORK DONE TILL TODAY WITH ANASTASIADES"
Nicosia, 26 March 14 (T.A.K): President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Dervish Eroglu said, it's not possible to get a result from negotiations before starting give and take process.
Stressing that the start of take and give process was necessary after the new Greek Cypriot Leader puts his opinions on the table, "If give and take does not start, negotiations can continue 40 more years. Exchange of papers goes on. We can only go forward to a solution only with give and take" quoted Eroglu.
Eroglu said that they would review the work done at talks till now with the Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades at their meeting on 31 of March.
President Eroglu spoke to press after his meeting with Alexander Downer, the UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Cyprus, who is on the island for a farewell visit. "The mission of another UN representative has come to an end but the Cyprus issue is still on the table waiting for a solution" said Eroglu.
He also underlined that a new appointment for the position of Downer can cause time loss.
