Nicosia, 13 March 14 (T.A.K): Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus President Dervish Eroglu, said, they were at the negotiation table with good will with the notion that an agreement could be reached. He also reiterated, they were not in the search of "any howsoever agreement" but an agreement that would secure the permanence of the Turkish Cypriot people.
President Dervish Eroglu, made the statement while he received a committee from the Coordination Committee of the Retired Persons Association today, who had visited him for expressing their sensitivities on the protection of the rights and resolving the economic problems of Turkish Cypriots during the negotiations.
Eroglu, stressed that, one of his major values was ensuring the security of the future of Turkish Cypriots. He also underlined that submitting a agreement which would not be accepted by his people would not be nice for him either.
"My basic duty is to take the sensitivities of Turkish Cypriot people into consideration at the negotiation table and submitting an agreement plan to referenda according to them" quoted President Eroglu.
