Nicosia, 22 June 12 (T.A.K.): The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister Responsible of Cyprus affairs has been visiting Turkish Cypriot officials in his visit to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus that started yesterday.
During his meetings that included President Dervis Eroglu, Speaker of the Parliament Hasan Bozer and the Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk, Besir Atalay, expressed the importance of sustainable economic performance and affirmed Turkey's support.
Atalay said, "Our sensitivity with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continues. We are doing everything we can and continue to do so".
Endorsing the economic figures of past six months Atalay said, "I am very happy with the economic figures I have seen. There are significantly positive signs on the income and expenditure balance"
Speaking of the strong relations between TRNC and Turkey, Atalay said, "Without being hooked on how the peace process is going, we are going to strengthen our structure and make our relationship tighter".
He also said the Turkish Cypriots should not feet lonely when there is Turkey by their side.
